Ergonomics Systems Specialist (ESS Designation) 


Now eligible for the new Canada Job Grant Program! The job grant program will pay 2/3 of the cost of an eligible course up to a maximum of $10,000 

This 5-day certification course provides you with the tools necessary to implement an effective ergonomics program into your organization. Incorporate ergonomics programming from a systems perspective, integrating with existing safety, human resources, and other business management systems.

Office Ergonomics Assessor Workshop

The goal of this 1 day workshop is to train individuals in how to establish and maintain an in-house office ergonomics program that will optimize worker efficiency through the identification of musculoskeletal hazards and risk factors.

Upon completion of the workshop, participants will be able to

  • Design the process that will become the foundation of the program and provide sustainability
  • Assess workstations and provide feedback to management and workers
  • Assist in proper workstation layout, set up and equipment utilization 
  • Evaluate the necessity of retrofitting and/or procurement of new office furnishings, equipment and accessories

Stretching Boot Camp

This 1 day workshop will help your company implement a successful warm-up and stretching initiative with the goal of reducing injuries, pain and discomfort associated with work and life stressors.

Participants are trained to become competent leaders of on-site warm-up, microbreak and stretching programs, and advocates of microbreak and injury prevention strategies.

Emphasis is on learning correct techniques relevant to the postures and demands of various working environments.
